Exploring the Connection Between Life and Art: A Philosophical Podcast
iWRITE Youth Club member, Matthew Jeong, always wanted to study cinema. "As both a creative writer and a philosophy enthusiast, there are many aspects present in film--from a historical impact to cultural context--that fascinate me."
Mathew's podcast, Pause that Thought began as a way to document a learning journey of both philosophy and film analysis. The podcast has come to cover more, however, delving deeper into real life aspects through a philosophical lens, from successful mindsets to coping with mental struggles. The podcast offers a platform for philosophical insight infused with concepts and wisdom that are applicable to daily life.
Matthew would like to feature a broad spectrum of people on his podcast including philosophy/history professors, film producers, authors, or even motivational speakers; he would like to hear the story of anyone who has a specific philosophy that can offer helpful applications for others.
For anyone wanting to reach out, you can contact Matthew at pausethatthoughtofficial@gmail.com.
